2008 Saranac Lake Winter Carnival
" St. Joseph's residents acted and danced as Norma Jean, Memphis, Mumbi and the
rest of the gang from Walt Disney’s Happy Feet during Saranac Lake's
annual Winter Carnival. While performing their choreographed presentation,
the residents' sound system failed causing an impromptu new dance step,
set to the tune of the marching band preceding the St. Joseph's float.
Despite the technical difficulties, the residents took second place in
the competition which included several dozen floats."
