St. Joseph’s receives top-40 employer in state award

On behalf of the employees of St. Joseph’s Addiction Treatment and Recovery Centers, St. Joseph’s CEO, Bob Ross, fourth from left, accepts the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) and Best Companies Group’s honor recognizing St. Joseph’s as one of the Best Small-to-Medium-Sized Companies to Work for in New York.

The Best Companies to Work for in New York program is open to all publically or privately-held organizations, either for profit, or not-for-profit. Each applicant’s score is based on a confidential employee survey used to evaluate the employee workplace experience, and an employer survey that includes information about benefits, policies, practices, and other measures.

Each company that participated received an Employee Feedback Report that summarized the data collected for use in assisting employers to better understand their workforces and to provide the input to make the workplace an even more rewarding experience.

St. Joseph’s Human Resources Director, Katie Kirkpatrick, stated, “It is a very real honor to be selected the first year we applied. I am so happy that St. Joseph’s employees have been recognized for their hard work and for their commitment to the mission of providing excellent treatment to those who suffer the disease of addicition.”

St. Joseph’s was one of just two not-for-profits to be selected for the honor in the small-to-medium-sized, those with 15 – 249 employees.
