Residents at St. Joseph's Inpatient Center took time out to participate in the annual Pumpkin Carving contest.
Residents worked individually or in small groups to create their own unique designs. Some pumpkins reflected a landscape

season including that
of a Pirate (theme of this years Saranac Lake Annual Winter Carnival). Staff of St. Joseph's took a brief time out in the
afternoon to act as pumpkin judges. The winners of the Pumpkin Carving contest were
awarded an extra bag of delicious Halloween candy at the Halloween Party where cider, pop corn & candy corn were served.
