Halloween Pumkin Carving


Residents at St. Joseph's Inpatient Center took time out to participate in the annual Pumpkin Carving contest. Residents worked individually or in small groups to create their own unique designs. Some pumpkins reflected a landscape motife, while others focused on the importance of apstainence & sobirety. There was of course the traditional designs of the season including that of a Pirate (theme of this years Saranac Lake Annual Winter Carnival). Staff of St. Joseph's took a brief time out in the afternoon to act as pumpkin judges. The winners of the Pumpkin Carving contest were awarded an extra bag of delicious Halloween candy at the Halloween Party where cider, pop corn & candy corn were served.
