SERVICES PROVIDED - INPATIENT SERVICES SHORT TERM - TRACK 2 PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
28 to 35 day varied length of stay
The program is based on 28-day schedule consisting of 25 days of programming.
Day 1 Admission, Day 2 general appointments and BPS and Day 28 discharge from program.
Program components focus on 5 primary areas:
- Addiction: Disease Model, Denial and Relapse
- Self-help Programs and Spirituality
- Lifestyle Adjustment: self-esteem, Emotions, Value Clarification & Relationships
- Recovery Environment: Re-entry and Coping Skills, Refusal Skills, Assertiveness, Social skills, Accepting and Giving Criticism,
Stress Management, Leisure Skills Education and Development, Problem Solving, Anger Management, Cue Extinction
- Family and Significant Relationships

All problems are identified, and priority is utilized in identifying if Problem is to be addressed while in treatment or
Aftercare. Given the shortness of program, primary focus is on the above primary areas.

TRACK I I PROGRAM OVERVIEW |
Early Recovery Group: 12 Sessions
This group focuses on the Disease Model, Denial, Defense Mechanisms, Relapse Prevention, Basic Intro to Recovery Process.
Medical Aspects: 1 Session
This lecture focuses on the medical consequences of addiction.
Coping Skills: 4 Sessions
This group focuses on identifying stressors and understanding coping skills necessary to handle stressors.
Re-entry Group: 4 Sessions
This group focuses on developing the supports necessary to return to the home environment and entry to aftercare.
Recovery Issues Group: 9 Sessions
This group is based on Gorski's Relapse Prevention Module, Relapse Prevention Education, Changing Attitudes,
Behaviors and Belief Systems.
Cue Extinction: 3 Sessions
This group focuses on understanding the relationship between triggers and cues.

PAT FOCUS GROUPS:
Creative Expressions, Risk and Challenge, Group Problem Solving, Leisure Skills. Residents will participate in PAT
assignments and recreation.
Residents will participate in Family Sessions and related groups. Residents will have access to Grief and Spirituality
Groups, Men's Anger Management Group and Women's Group as assigned.
All Track II clients go through many of the Track I components during their treatment.
